Q: What areas do you cover? A: We are based in Hazel Grove, Stockport, and primarily cover Stockport, Manchester, and the wider North West region. If you are unsure whether your business falls within our service area, please contact us to check.

Q: Who do you work with? A: We work with all sectors of the catering industry, ranging from local independent sandwich shops and restaurants to large multi-national corporations, schools, and care facilities.

Q: Are your engineers qualified? A: Absolutely. Safety is our priority. All P&A Services engineers are Gas Safe registered (COMCAT 1, 3 & 5) and hold relevant electrical qualifications. Our team is also SafeContractor accredited and all staff are Enhanced DBS checked for peace of mind when working in schools or care environments.


Repairs & Maintenance

Q: My oven/dishwasher has broken down. How quickly can you attend? A: We understand that equipment downtime loses you money. We offer a fast response service for reactive repairs. Please call us immediately at 0161 483 8060 to book an emergency call-out. Our vans carry a wide range of common spare parts to aim for a first-time fix.

Q: Which brands do you repair? A: We repair and maintain almost all major commercial catering equipment brands. Our engineers have undergone manufacturer training with leading names including Rational, Meiko, Sharp, and Classeq.

Q: Do you offer m:9::aintenance contracts? A: Yes. We offer Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contracts to help prevent breakdowns before they happen. We can tailor a package to suit your needs, ranging from annual safety inspections to labour-inclusive monthly plans that spread the cost of servicing.

Q: Can you issue Gas Safety Certificates? A: Yes, we provide comprehensive Gas Safety inspections and issue the necessary CP42 certification to keep your commercial kitchen compliant with legal regulations.


Sales, Installation & Design

Q: Do you sell new catering equipment? A: Yes, we supply a vast range of commercial catering equipment, from primary cooking appliances (ranges, fryers, combi ovens) to warewashing and refrigeration units. We can source equipment from all leading industry manufacturers at competitive prices.

Q: Can you design my new commercial kitchen? A: We offer a full design service using the latest AutoCAD software. We can produce detailed layout drawings and M&E service drawings. If you purchase your equipment through us, the design service is often fully funded (free of charge).

Q: Do you install extraction systems? A: Yes, we specialize in bespoke fabrication and canopies. We can design and install ventilation systems that ensure your kitchen is safe and compliant with DW172 and BS6173 standards.

Q: How much do you charge for a quote? A: We pride ourselves on providing fast, reliable, and accurate quotes. For equipment supply and installation projects, please contact us for a free consultation. For repair call-out rates, please speak to our service desk directly.

Q: Can I finance my new kitchen equipment? A: We work with partners like Johnson Reed to offer leasing and finance options, allowing you to spread the cost of your investment over time. Ask us about finance options when requesting a quote.
